FAQ

Will the right equipment be provided for my wedding?

The artist is able to bring a sound system and lighting which is suitable for the space and amount of guests at the event. When the event has 150+ guests attending, it is adviced to book the premium equipment package which includes additional sound and lighting equipment.

Do you take requests?

You’re more than welcome to send up to 75 requests up front and I’m also happy to take requests from all the guests on the night.

How long is the performance?

Standard DJ performance is up to 5 hours with midnight as finish time. Additional hours can be booked beforehand and also on the night. When booking additional hours on the night the additional fee would need to be paid in cash before the additional hour(s) start.

How much space is required?

The minimum space required would be 2.5 x 2m and 2.4m in height if possible. When the ceiling is lower than 2.4m the lights with be placed on the floor, pointing upwards to still have a similar effect. There would need to be at least 1 socket in a range of 4m from the set up place.

When outside, all equipment must also be in a sheltered space against rain or sunlight to avoid water damage or overheating on the equipment.

How long is the set up and take down time?

Depending on the size of the set up, it could take rouhgly 1.5 hours to set everything up. The take down is usually a bit faster, but can still take up to 1 hour.

How far are you willing to travel?

I travel worldwide to perform at events. If the travel distance is still reasonable by car (Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Switzerland, North Italy, North Spain), I can provide all the equipment.

How much extra does need to be paid for travel?

Travel costs are £15 per hour (there and back). If the travel time is longer than 2 hours, accommodation costs of £75 are added to the travel costs.

Do you need refreshments?

It would be great if I could be provided with a hot meal and soft drinks / bottled water.

Are sound limiters a problem?

Not at all, I have worked with sound limiters before and always it was never a problem.

We have booked our own Saxophonist (or other live artist), can he/she plug into your sound system?

Of course, any artist is more than welcome to plug into my sound system and I can control the sound for them.
